  2. A great informative podcast by Bob Marshall – thoroughly enjoyed it start to finish –

  3. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to Bob. Started listening to John Miles from Zaragon onwards and love his ‘70’s output. I had always wondered what had happened to Bob and Google never threw up anything. A wasted talent and I’m sure he would have loved to have continued as a musician but understand the way things can change.

  4. Absolutely great to hear Bob’s story, always wondered what happened to him, certainly didn’t expect ‘couldnt be bothered’! Although I do get it. Sounds a very great band to have played in, management problems or not.

  5. Superb podcast. Bob tells many stories a lot of fans would not have known. Bob shows a lot of love & respect for John. Made with a lot of care & selection of music makes for a great introduction for any newbies.

  7. Tremendous interview with Bob Marshall. Lovely to hear his stories and his true affection for his friend John, as well as other band members, which is unusual, normally they all fall out.

  8. Delightful and revealing insight into the bond and love the new ‘fab four’ had for each other. Very happy fond memories of seeing John and co. many times brilliantly live at Newcastle city hall. What amazing talent and John such a nice man. Can’t believe he passed so young, and sorry to hear of your stroke Bob. You are all unforgettable, your music will live on forever. Kind regards, Keith.

  11. First heard John in 1975, as a young kad of 13 , living in Forest OfDean area.

This was an explosive time for music, and my own musical tastes, Glam rock, and rock were a big influence.

BBC did simultanious sight and sound broadcasts on Saturday evenings, and i remember hearing John on this , and
    thinking wow, juat brilliant.

Stranger in the City was played lots, and still gets a listen now.

Bob, thank you for your podcast, your very kind words for John, and your admiration and frienship stories, from back in the day.
I can tell that you were very close, to this modest, and very kind man

I am also sad to hear of musicans passing, Music takes us all back, and provides so many memories.

Thank you Bob ,for your fabulous tribute to John.
