Mike Pender – Origins of the Searchers and The Search for Myself

The Searchers were one of the biggest bands of the Merseybeat scene, with a string of timeless 60s hits and critically acclaimed releases until the early 1980s. Mike Pender, one of the band’s founder members and lead singer in this period has finally told his story through his autobiography ‘Origins of the Searchers and The Search for Myself’. 

Mike tells Jason Barnard about his musical journey and new book that for the first time uncovers what really happened all those years ago.
