With candour and good humour, Don talks about his latest project Don & The Dreamers, his time in Slade and the 50th anniversary of Slade in Flame.
Many years ago I read his book and was amazed to find there, that in 1965 he played with the N’Betweens not only in Germany but even in my hometown! Which is not a place, where you would have expected something like that. It took me years to find out where. And it turned out to be a house, that is one of our supermarkets for ages by now. So everytime I’m shopping there, I wonder in which corner they might have played…….
