I must have watched many many times Mike Snow and the Rocking Horse backing Chuck Berry in the BBC live convert. The concert was so so good. Chuck Berry was at his best but that show would not have been such a great success if not for the mighty Rocking Horse. Mike Snow was superb and so was the band. Thank you boys and the BBC.
I’ve just watched the chuck berry 1972 private audience with bbc, labelled as “concert”, but definitely seems in a large recording room with a lot of young audience, was hugely impressed by chuck agreed that he was at the peak of his career but what made the Music was the rocking horse supporting band and blown away by Mike snow on piano, I could see that chuck was mischievous with him, but he (Mike) was so cool it was amazing to watch. So glad I found the podcast on Mike snow interview there’s very little video footage to find on him and he’s clearly an awesome artist.
