Always enlightening to speak with you Bruce as well as encouraging! Thankyou for all your contributions to sound & thought!
Great interview. Bruce’s career spans the history of rock. IMO Pump It Up deserves co composition credits that read Cosstello/Thomas.
One of the most under rated bass players in popular music. Costello wrote great songs, without which even the best bass players, can’t shine. But Bruce’s bass on costello records was like the muscles that power things along be it gentle, subtle moving to expert heavy lifting. Shot through with beauty.
