The. Version of Waterloo Sunset we all know was produced by Ray. He didn’t like Shell’s version so he re-recorded it with himself producing it and that was the end of Shel and Ray became the sole producer for the kinks throughout the rest of their career
What a great legacy, thank you Shel! Shel also used Jimmy Page on the majority of the recordings he produced!
