Songwriter Iain Matthews and author/broadcaster Ian Clayton join Jason Barnard to talk about Iain’s critically acclaimed memoir Thro’ My Eyes. We charts Iain’s life from childhood to Carnaby Street in the mid-sixties. Iain was soon recruited on vocals for Fairport Convention before embarking in the groups Matthews Southern Comfort, Plainsong and as a solo artist.

Fabulous, cant think of any 60’s -70’s Singer Songwriter whos History is more fascinating than Iain Matthews! the Group,,PLAINSONG,with the mighty Andy Roberts,should have msade it to a much larger Audience Iain’s vocals are sweet and oh sooo sensitive,his Band History ,just amazing! a great Interview..Thanks!..
