The Strange Brew is delighted to announce the premiere of ‘London Town’, the title track from Bedsit Poets long-awaited album ‘All Roads Lead Me Back’. Edward Rogers and Amanda Thorpe, originally hailing from England but deeply rooted in the music culture of New York, bring us a blend of English folk, the late seventies NYC scene, and a touch of electronica.

‘London Town’, is a poignant reflection on the changing urban landscape. As the Victorian and Edwardian era landscape gets torn down and is replaced by towering structures, the song beautifully encapsulates the struggle between progress and the preservation of memories. The lyrics resonate with those who’ve witnessed their towns and cities evolve, painting a picture of the struggle to maintain one’s identity in the face of urban transformation.
