I would like to no if Colin remembers where and when he received his first set of Drums. I think my dad may have sold them to him maybe late 1950s. ?

Thanks for this. As we know, the Gibb Brothers were able to go their way with other musicians as well. But the five-members “Bee Gees” line-up was really special. Both Vince Melouney and Colin Petersen each brought a special colour into their music, that went missing when they disappeared. What is most amazing about that line up is, that they probably were the first band, that went on the road with a real orchestra in the late 60s, when no one else dared to do that. And remaining recordings show, that those concerts must have been amazing.
Thanks and best wishes to those two Australian “Bee Gees” !!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU TODAY Colin Petersen . Carpe Diem – E-O .
