What happened when teens did not want to hear tales of topographic oceans but instead create dirty riffs covered up in make-up stolen from their girlfriend? Some of our sixties friends also jumped on the glam-wagon too.

  1. Brilliant – great chance to hear some unknown glam, plus the great Ronno! What about doing a show of ‘classic b-sides’ i.e. We all know the classics like Blockbuster, Jean Genie, Mama Weer All Crazee Now et al, but there must have been some decent tracks on the other sides of these worth airing from this period? Thanks for a great show, more from 1970-1974 please!!

  2. Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your comments. I play a lot of b-sides so that’s a great idea. I have a few shows in the pipeline but will get thinking.

1970-74 a great era- will investigate.

My next show will be slightly delayed but hope to post mid-May. All the best,

    Jason

  3. I haven’t heard Starlord since we recorded it in London. Thanks for posting it and remembering us!

  4. Fantastic selection!
Special thanks for Star Lord. Thought I’d never find it online! ) Great to hear more Nigel. Did you ever play the B-side of the single?
