  1. I love that this interview is so much more in depth than so many interviews I hear, and that Allan gave you so much of his time.
The music is such an interesting mix, and Allan’s recordings are a joy to hear.
I’m very much looking forward to hearing part 2!

  2. Very enjoyable podcast, The Hollies are one of my fave 60s groups and Allan gave us some great information about his time back in the 60s.
Great selection of songs too, some were new to me. Loved the Evie Sands “I Can’t Let Go” and Allan’s mid 70s recordings were excellent too.

  3. Thank you so much to Allan Clarke and to The Strange Brew for broadcasting this incredibly comprehensive, candid interview! Mr. Clarke, you are a rare breed–a gifted artist without a diva complex, willing to share your life, your gifts, and your soul with those of us who truly value it.

  4. This podcast is so great and I keep returning from time to time. I really enjoy Evie Sands excellent version, that I knew nothing about. And it is so great to Allan speak. The sideshow collection is great. I wish his first album would be re-released on CD too.

  5. Thanks so much for this interview and for the tunes. I’m a Hollies lifer. So cool to hear Allan talking! Wish he would return to recording. Looking forward to the next two podcasts. I’m new to this site. Can’t wait to check out other podcasts.
